Wild Game Night offers fathers, sons chance to enjoy "guy's night out" This year's fundraiser will feature celebrity guests Jon and Gina Brunson, hosts of the Outdoor Channel's "Addicted to the Outdoors" television show. PLANT CITY Here's a chance fathers, sons and grandsons to gather for a guys-only "wild" night of fun. The Brandon Rotary Club will host its 39th annual Wild Game Night Friday, March 20 from 6 to 10 p.m. at Lupton's Boggy Bottom Ranch, a wooded outdoor event venue located at 8407 Lupton Place off Keysville Road in Plant City. Each year, the stag fundraiser attracts outdoorsmen from throughout Hillsborough County eager to sample a variety of expertly prepared wild game fare, including venison, quail and wild boar dishes along with domestic fish and barbecue for the less-adventurous. The evening offers a chance for guys to indulge in an authentic Ybor City cigar rolled on-site and socialize with fellow hunting and fishing enthusiasts around an open bar stocked with top-shelf liquors and draft and craft beers. Attendees also will have a chance to meet and have their photos taken with celebrity guests Jon and Gina Brunson, hosts of the popular Outdoor Channel television show, "Addicted to the Outdoors." As in past years, a highlight of the evening is the chance to win thousands of dollars' worth of raffle and door prizes including hunting rifles, collectible knives, bows, guided fishing trips, camping, hunting and fishing gear, golf accessories and sports memorabilia donated by local businesses. "This is a great opportunity for fathers and sons to enjoy a night out together," said Wild Game Night chairman Joe Campoamor. "I'll be there with my two boys and my dad. It's a family tradition for us." Wild Game Night has become a tradition for guys of all ages because it offers a rare chance to get together with likeminded sportsmen and brag about that big trophy buck or lament the one that got away. All proceeds from Wild Game Night are donated to local charities. In past years, the event has raised $40,000 to $50,000 for organizations like Rotary's Camp Florida, the Brandon Outreach Clinic and the Emergency Care Help Organization. Donations for tickets are $75 and are available through Eventbrite, http://www.eventbrite.com/e/brandon-rotary-club-wild-game-night-tickets-15504932671?aff=eac2, from any Brandon Rotary Club member or by calling Campoamor at (813) 748-2076. Sponsorships are available for large parties or corporations who want to experience this exciting event and receive additional value-added benefits.
